Dienstleistungsarbeit im Zugbegleitdienst - ein doppelter Balanceakt

Abstract

Die Privatisierung des Unternehmens Deutsche Bahn bringt nicht nur auf struktureller Ebene, sondern auch für die Beschäftigten im Zugbegleitdienst und die Bahnreisenden selbst eine Reihe von Veränderungen mit sich. Neben der traditionellen Rolle des Zugbegleiters als Kontrolleur ist die des Servicemitarbeiters stark in den Vordergrund gerückt. Bahnreisende gelten nicht mehr nur als Bahnbenutzer, sondern als zu bedienende Kunden. Welche Auswirkungen haben die Veränderungen auf die Dienstleistungsinteraktion zwischen beiden? Die Akteure müssen für sich abgleichen, welche Rolle sie in welcher Situation ausfüllen wollen und müssen. Somit ist von beiden Seiten nicht mehr eindeutig vorhersehbar, wie sich ihr Gegenüber während des Dienstleistungskontaktes verhalten wird. Sowohl Zugbegleiter als auch Reisende müssen ihre Rollen in doppelter Weise ausbalancieren.
