E-Commerce - A Viable Part Of Winemakers` Strategy: Study On The Content Of Romanian Websites

Abstract

The deepening economic crisis has not left the wine industry unshaken, businesses stringency strongly emphasizing the need for effective websites for winemakers. The purpose of this research is twofold. From the managerial perspective, the main goal is to develop a website assessment model useful to wine industry actors. From the academic perspective, the purpose is to identify the correlation between the 2.0 instrument structure and size and organizational structure coordinates. Winemaking companies in Romania were examined. Websites were grouped based on similarity in the constructs. Some major points of differentiation were identified between clusters labeled as wine oriented and marketing oriented websites.
