Interview and guide questions were used in gathering the data. The study used the qualitative approach using the phenomenological design. Moustakas’ transcendental phenomenology was used in analyzing the data and came up with four meaningful themes, namely: 1 Visual Representation of Loss and Embracing Life, 2) Underlying Emotions and Meanings in Visual Images, 3) Resonance with Broader Experiences and Challenges and 4) Personal Strengths in Embracing Life. The study concludes that the student’s disasters experience is affecting their studies and mental health.
