Abstract

The study that is being undertaken here seeks to examine how these two factors are correlated, namely the flexibility that university administrators display as capable leaders and their ability to manage innovation. It asks qualitatively how creditable, responsible, and efficient agile leadership practices influence administrators in championing as well as managing innovation. It is evidenced that there exists a close relationship between the skills in changing leadership and the skills in managing innovative ideas. The study provides some insights that could enhance leadership strategies and considerations regarding the dynamism of the academic environment, enabling one to appreciate the role of agile leadership in establishing a culture that fosters innovation in the context of higher learning.
