Türkiye’de İşgücüne Katılım, İstihdam ve Beşeri Sermaye Dışsallıkları

Abstract

Bu çalısmada bireylerin işgücüne katılım ve istihdamda olma ihtimallerinin içinde bulundukları bölgenin beşeri sermaye düzeyi ile bağlantısı Hane halkı İşgücü Anketi 2013 yılı mikro verisi kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Kadınlar ve erkekler için ayrı ayrı yapılan Probit modeli tahminleri bölgesel beşeri sermaye düzeyinin erkeklerin işgücüne katılım ve istihdamda olma olasılığını anlamlı olarak artırdığını ancak, bu etkinin sadece üniversite ve üzeri eğitime sahip kadınlar için geçerli oldugunu ortaya koymaktadır. Bulgular bölgesel beşeri sermayenin erkeklerin istihdam olasılığı üzerindeki olumlu etkisinin bireylerin eğitim düzeyi ile ters orantılı oldugunu ortaya koymaktadır.
