Abstract
In recent years, socio-economic discourse has been characterized by a closer attention of scientists and specialists to the problem of social justice. This is due, firstly, to the fact that justice is a basic spiritual, moral and socio-economic value for people, and secondly, it is the basis for the formation of mechanisms for the socio-economic mobilization of society, its social energy in a country or region. Unfortunately, this factor is rarely mentioned in Russian economic literature, although in 2017 the Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded just for behavioral economics. The study is devoted to the consideration of theoretical and applied problems of the relationship between social justice and the modern economy, the importance of justice in the Russian society. The article substantiates the position that the ideas of justice have a necessary influence on the national economic life and the concept of social justice is one of the most important factors in the development of the Russian economy. In addition, the scientific approach to the region as a society brings to the fore a deep comprehensive study of the social life of the population, including cultural, spiritual, moral, ethical, socio-psychological and other aspects of the life of the regional society. The work has a pronounced interdisciplinary character; therefore the methodological basis of this article is fundamental scientific developments in philosophy, economic sociology, regional economics, substantiating the features of the formation of the category “social justice” and its significance in social and regional development. The methodological techniques used in the work are dialectical, logical, comparative and structural-functional methods. As a result of the study, a comprehensive analysis of interdisciplinary concepts of social justice is presented, it is substantiated that it is impossible to solve the problem of reforming and transforming all spheres of public life without establishing the principles of social justice in all socio-economic structures of the country and its regions.
