Abstract

During their business life, companies are faced with the choice of people for management positions. In doing so, companies should have clearly defined quality selection criteria and comply with the basic legal procedure. After being elected to management positions, the selected personnel must be aware of the responsibility of the assigned position and be involved in the management processes with the aim of making quality business decisions so that the companies are well positioned in the national and international markets. In such cases, companies should have an equal choice with regard to gender. In this paper, the emphasis is on identifying the level of women's involvement in management processes. The subject of this paper is to recognize the importance of women's involvement in the management processes of companies. The question is whether and to what extent women are involved in management processes in the Republic of Croatia and to what degree it is present. The research was conducted on 1,900 companies in the Republic of Croatia. The results of the research showed that there is a higher degree of involvement of women in the basic management processes of the surveyed companies in the Republic of Croatia.
