Pengaruh Pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Materi Klasifikasi Mahluk Hidup di SMPK Binawirawan Maumere

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri atas seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPK Bina Wirawan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIE dan VIIG yang masing-masing kelas berjumlah 30 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian berupa data kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa keaktifan belajar siswa, hasil angket tanggapan siswa dan hasil tes belajar siswa dan dianalisis menggunakan uji hipotesis.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan pendekatan jelajah alam sekitar (JAS) dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan metode konvensional pada pokok bahasan Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup. Analisis angket tanggapan siswa menunjukkan bahwa minat dan motivasi belajar siswa sangat tinggi terhadap pembelajaran biologi apabilapembelajaran bilogi menggunakan pendekatan jelajah alam sekitar (JAS). Hasil analisis aspek afektif menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol sebesar 30 %.Analisis data aspek kognitif menunjukan bahwa sig 2- tailed lebih kecil dari 0,05atau 0,04<0,05.
