Struktur Populasi Dan Aktivitas Harian Lutung Budeng (Tracypithecus auratus) Di Taman Wisata Alam Situgunung Sukabumi

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung jumlah individu dalam kelompok yang berbeda dan melihat aktivitas harian lutung budeng (Tracypithecus auratus) di Taman Wisata Alam Situgunung Sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan adalah scan sampling, yaitu dengan menghitung dan mengamati prilaku sepanjang hari secara langsung. Kelompok yang diamati terdiri dari 2 kelompok. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Juni 2009. Hasil penelitian struktur populasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 25 ekor yang masing – masing terdiri dari kelompok 1 sebanyak 13 ekor ddan kelompok 2 sebanyak 12 ekor. Sedangkan persentase aktivitas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelompok 1 makan 47,98%, gerak 25,74% dan istirahat 26,80% sementara kelompok 2 makan 48,06%, gerak 25,74% dan istirahat 26,28%.
