El impacto de los trabajos forzados en la economía vasconavarra (1937-1945)

Abstract

Con este trabajo pretendemos plantear datos y nuevas hipótesis en torno al impacto económico de los trabajos forzados en España, tanto durante la guerra civil como en la inmediata posguerra, con el objetivo de incorporar a la historiografía española cuestiones que se han revelado fundamentales en el estudio del trabajo forzado en otros regímenes dictatoriales, como su peso en la economía de guerra o las estrategias empresariales de cara al empleo de este tipo de trabajadores. El artículo parte de la constatación de la ausencia de series completas sobre el empleo y la localización de los trabajadores forzados durante la guerra y posguerra a nivel estatal, y remarca la necesidad de avanzar en esta dirección a partir de estudios locales y regionales.
