Fundusze unii europejskiej jako stymulator prośrodowiskowego rozwoju obszarów wiejskich – na przykładzie gmin wiejskich województwa wielkopolskiego

Abstract

W opracowaniu zaprezentowano opinię jednostek samorządu gmin wiejskich województwa wielkopolskiego na temat ich uczestnictwa w procesie zagospodarowania funduszy unijnych na działania prośrodowiskowe, skalę oraz bariery tego zjawiska. Brak środków finansowych został uznany przez badane gminy za główną barierę utrudniającą prowadzenie działań z zakresu ochrony środowiska, fundusze unijne z kolei za ważne źródło wsparcia tego rodzaju inwestycji – aż 83% badanej populacji podjęło próbę pozyskania środków z Unii Europejskiej na cele środowiskowe. Środki pochodzące z Unii Europejskiej służyły respondentom przede wszystkim do poprawy infrastruktury obszaru gospodarki wodno-ściekowej.
