Asymetria samowystarczalności produkcji ziemniaków w krajach Unii Europejskiej

Abstract

Uprawa ziemniaków od wielu lat uznawana jest za podstawowe źródło pozyskiwania pożywienia dla ludności na wszystkich kontynentach. Celem artykułu jest próba oceny samowystarczalności produkcji ziemniaków w poszczególnych krajach Unii Europejskiej, jako produktu mającego duże znaczenie na rynkach rolnych. W badaniu skoncentrowano się na samowystarczalności technicznej oraz ekonomicznej. Jak wykazały poszczególne wskaźniki, kraje Unii Europejskiej charakteryzują się znacznym zróżnicowaniem pod względem samowystarczalności.
