For these purposes, we first examine factors affecting the consumption of the fishery products such as their nutritional characteristics, consumers' attitude about them, and liberalization of the market for them; second, we look at features in the trend of consumption by fishery product item; and third, we analyze determinants of the household expenditure on the fishery products using the Household Income and Expenditure Survey data.
