Les disparités départementales de l'agriculture française de 1962 à 1980

Abstract

The last two decades seem characterized by increasing regional disparities of agricultural value added per work unit. Whereas the redistribution of the active farm population has tended to reduce disparities, the differentiated growth of regional added values has caused the observed aggravation. These différencies are part of a process of regional specialization and regional concentration which originated long before the 1960-ties. The wealthy agriculture is even more concentrated in the Paris area and the poorer farm sector in the remote regions.
