Abstract

A total of thirty-five (35) rats (mean weight = 170 ± 10 g) were divided into seven groups of five rats each. Group I rats served as control, while others received graded doses of the medicinal plant extract (200 - 5000 mg/kg body weight, bwt) for a period of 28 days. Indices of liver function were measured in plasma.
