Abstract

Ex vivo fluorescence confocal microscopy is a novel imaging technique that enables microscopic examination of freshly excised unfixed tissue. Prompt examination of the biopsy specimens can be carried out in the operating room, thus offering an alternative to the conventional and timeconsuming histopathological analyses...
