Les politiques françaises d'emploi en faveur des jeunes : une évaluation économétrique

Abstract

[fre] Cette étude s'attache à analyser les effets des politiques menées en faveur des jeunes sur leur durée moyenne d'emploi dans l'entreprise qui les accueille et sur leur trajectoire professionnelle à l'issue de cet emploi. Nous estimons des modèles de durée et de recherche d'emploi pour tester l'efficacité des mesures "jeunes" par rapport aux contrats d'emploi classiques. Les résultats économétri­ques montrent qu'à expérience et à formation égales, un jeune embauché au titre d'une mesure jeunes (hors TUC) a une probabilité plus élevée de rester durable­ment chez son employeur qu'un autre embauché avec un CDD. En revanche, un jeune qui est passé par une mesure jeunes et qui est à la recherche d'un nouvel emploi mettra plus de temps pour obtenir cet emploi que le même jeune ayant une expérience d'emploi non aidé. [eng] We analyze the effects of measures taken in favour of youth on the duration oftheir stay in the firm and on their professionnal trajectories at the end of their employment spell. We estimate models of job employment and of job search, in order to test the effective­ness of Youth training schemes relative to usual employment contracts. Econometric results show that, for given experience and level of qualification, the young people hired through these schemes have a higher probability to stay within the firm than those hired through a contract with determined duration. On the other hand, young people passed through this scheme and looking for a job will search for longer than those having expe­rienced a not subsidized job.
