Abstract

Hybridkapital ist eine innovative Form der Unternehmensfinanzierung. Hybride Finanzinstrumente weisen Eigenschaften von sowohl Fremd- als auch Eigenkapital auf und stellen deswegen ein sehr flexibles Finanzprodukt dar. Aus diesem Grund haben sich in den letzten Jahren hybride Kapitalinstrumente auf den Finanzmärkten in Europa etabliert und gewinnen zunehmend an Bedeutung. Diese Arbeit hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt einen umfassenden Überblick über die am Markt erscheinenden Formen von Hybridkapitalprodukten zu verschaffen. Des Weiteren werden die Gründe analysiert, welche die Emittenten und Investoren zur Teilnahme an diesem Markt bewegen. Besonderes Interesse wird der Betrachtung vom Hybridkapital aus Sicht der Ratingagenturen und Aufsicht gewidmet, da sie einen großen Einfluss auf Marktentwicklung haben. Auf die Analyse der steuerlichen und bilanziellen Aspekte wird aus Grund der Überschaubarkeit verzichtet.
