Umweltaktives Management und industrielle Beziehungen im Industriebetrieb: Eine Fallstudie

Abstract

Zunehmende öffentliche Kritik, gesetzliche Auflagen und Forderungen von Kunden bewegen Unternehmensleitungen, der Einbindung der Unternehmenstätigkeit in ökologische Kreisläufe mehr Beachtung zu schenken. Am Beispiel der Verpackungsindustrie wird exemplarisch ein Unternehmen vorgestellt, dessen Geschäftsführung durch ein vielfältiges Ökologieprogramm externen Auflagen und möglichen Skandalierungen zuvorkommt, ein neues Image bei Kunden und in der Region aufbaut und über die Einbeziehung von ökologischen Orientierungen der Mitarbeiter Motivationen bindet. Unter Verwendung des Akteurs-Ansatzes werden der Aufbau dieses Öko-Managements verfolgt, die Rollen und Selbstverständnisse der verschiedenen Akteursgruppen dargestellt. Die Betriebsfall Studie ist als Vorarbeit zum Konzept einer ökologisch erweiterten Arbeitspolitik zu verstehen, indem exemplarisch danach gefragt wird, inwieweit Umweltpolitik als neues Thema der industriellen Beziehungen an traditionelle arbeitspolitische Themen und Regelungen anknüpfen kann.
