Des paysages florissants? Une contribution à la recherche sur la transformation

Abstract

Cet article analyse le processus de transformation affectant les entreprises dans les nouveaux Länder et propose une comparaison avec les processus de même nature observés dans d’autres pays anciennement socialistes. L’auteur explique comment ces entreprises ont abordé et surmonté le processus de transformation d’une entreprise collective dans un système économique socialiste en une entreprise privée insérée dans un système d’économie de marché. Il montre en outre quels ont été les facteurs déterminants du succès, et il analyse les raisons des coûts élevés et de la durée caractérisant cette transformation. L’explication ne se limite pas seulement aux caractéristiques du système économique socialiste, puisque l’histoire des entreprises est aussi considérée dans son ensemble.
