Digitale Arbeitswelten im Mittelstand: Auswertung von Studien zu Arbeit 4.0

Abstract

Für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen besteht ein anhaltender Veränderungsdruck hin zu agilen und flexiblen Arbeitsweisen, um die Kundenbedarfe schneller zu decken. Verstärkt wird dieser Druck durch den Fachkräftemangel, denn qualifiziertes Personal erwartet moderne Arbeitsbedingungen. Um digitale Arbeitsprozesse erfolgreich zu implementieren sind Veränderungsbereitschaft in der Führungsebene einschließlich neuer Führungsrollen ebenso grundlegend, wie kontinuierliche Qualifizierungen der Belegschaft. Diese vielschichtigen Aspekte werden zunehmend in Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft mit den Schlagworten Arbeit(en) 4.0, Digitale Arbeit sowie digitale Arbeitswelten diskutiert, wobei bei den meisten Veröffentlichungen große Unternehmen im Mittelpunkt stehen. Der vorliegende Diskussionsbeitrag ist Teil eines Forschungsprojekts, das einen Überblick über die Diskussion digitaler Arbeitswelten in der Fachöffentlichkeit mit Schwerpunkt auf kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) geben möchte.
