Chinas Rückkehr in die Weltgemeinschaft: Triebkräfte und Widerstände auf dem Weg zu einem 'Global Player'

Abstract

Der Beitrag zeichnet den in den letzten Jahren zu beobachtenden Bedeutungsgewinn Chinas in der Weltwirtschaft und Weltpolitik nach. Es werden die zentralen historischen Weichenstellungen aufgezeigt, Eckdaten der weltwirtschaftlichen Integration präsentiert und die zentralen Politikparameter dargestellt. Im Zuge einer kritischen Darstellung der innerchinesischen Krisenpotentiale sowie weltpolitischer Gegenkräfte werden die Perspektiven eines Aufstiegs Chinas zum 'Global Player' diskutiert.
