Wahlsieg der rechten Mitte in Tschechien: Innen-und europapolitische Konsequenzen der Wahlen zur Abgeordnetenkammer

Abstract

Die Wahlen zur tschechischen Abgeordnetenkammer, die am 8. und 9. Oktober 2021stattfanden, endeten mit einem Sieg der rechten Mitte. Das konservativ-liberale Bündnis Spolu erhielt zusammen mitderAllianz, die die Bürgermeisterpartei STAN und die Piratenpartei gebildet haben, eine Mehrheit in der unteren Kammer des tschechischen Parlaments. Der bisherige Premierminister Andrej Babišscheint sich mit der Niederlage abgefunden zu haben. Trotz großer Ungewissheit über den Gesundheitszustand des Staatspräsidenten könnte die Regierungsbildung relativ glatt verlaufen. Babišund seine Partei ANO bleiben aber weiter ein ernstzunehmender Faktorin der Innenpolitik. Die Tschechische Republik wird in der Europäischen Union in vielerlei Hinsicht weiterhin pragmatisch agieren. Die integrationsfreundlichen Kräfte im pro-spektiven Regierungslager werden durch die moderat europaskeptische Strömung in der größten Regierungspartei, der ODS, gebremst. In der Außenpolitik werden 'Werte' und Menschenrechte stärker betont werden.
