Neue Technologien für die Bundeswehr: Handlungsnotwendigkeiten durch technische Innovationen

Abstract

Mit steigenden Anforderungen an die deutsche Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik in einem von multiplen Krisen gekennzeichneten Europa wachsen auch die Ansprüche an die deutschen Streitkräfte. Damit die Bundeswehr trotz limitierender Faktoren wie Personal- und Materialmangel an Durchsetzungsfähigkeit und Abschreckungswirkung gewinnt, muss sie schneller und breitflächiger neue Technologien nutzen. Je zügiger und effektiver diese Technologien nutzbar gemacht werden, desto mehr Vorteile bringen sie auf dem Gefechtsfeld. Der derzeitige politische Wille zur Veränderung, der Anpassungsdruck aufgrund der veränderten Sicherheitslage und die finanziellen Ressourcen sorgen für ein bisher einzigartiges Momentum.
