Abstract

Der Artikel geht der Frage nach, ob die Forderung einer 'Unternehmensverantwortung für soziale und ökologische Nachhaltigkeit' (CSR) in den Kurrikula der Hochschule verankert werden kann. Zunächst wird die Frage aus wissenschaftstheoretischer Sicht diskutiert. Dabei zeigt sich, dass es kein allgemeingültiges Verfahren für die Begründung von Handlungszielen gibt. Dann wird aus verfassungsrechtlicher Sicht darauf verwiesen, dass die Implementierung normativer Handlungsziele in den Kurrikula zu Konflikten mit dem Prinzip der Freiheit von Lehre und Forschung führen kann. Abschließend wird die CSR-Konzeption aus wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Sicht diskutiert. Dabei zeigt sich, dass diese Konzeption sowohl zu Problemen bei der Unternehmensfinanzierung als auch bei der Managementkontrolle führen kann und dass sie im Vergleich zu einer ordnungspolitischen Implementierung sozial- und umweltpolitischer Zielvorstellungen inferior ist.
