Abstract

Auf der Hannover-Messe 2011 trat die Initiative "Industrie 4.0" an die Öffentlichkeit. Seither wird in Deutschland aktiv an der Vision Industrie 4.0 gearbeitet. Bisher gibt es hierzu nur fragmentarische Praxisbeispiele und gleichzeitig umfassende Bemühungen in der Grundlagenforschung. Dieses Arbeitspapier greift die anhaltende Diskussion zu dem Thema auf und stellt ein Beispiel für den Nutzen und die Anwendung von Industrie 4.0 vor. Ziel ist es, durch eine praxisnahes Anwendungsszenario die Kluft zwischen Anspruch und Wirklichkeit in der Diskussion um Industrie 4.0 zu überwinden helfen.
