Preiswucher versus Lohnwucher: Neue Erkenntnisse empirischer Moralforschung und ihre politischen Implikationen

Abstract

Dieser Artikel skizziert die empirischen Erkenntnisse der 2024 in Public Choice erschienenen Studie "When Goliath sells to David: explaining price gouging perceptions through power" von Johanna Jauernig, Matthias Uhl und Ingo Pies. Zudem wird herausgearbeitet, wie sich diese Erkenntnisse und ihre (wirtschafts-)politischen Implikationen in den Kontext des ordonomischen Forschungsprogramms einfügen: dass die Erforschung von folk economic und folk ethical beliefs im Rahmen empirischer Moralforschung dazu beitragen kann, das Moralparadoxon der Moderne besser in den Griff zu bekommen.
