Abstract

Für den Erklärungsgehalt der traditionellen Wachstumstheorie sind in besonderer Weise die Annahmen exogenen technischen Fortschritts und gegebenen Regimes, in dem sich das ökonomische System bewegt, restriktiv. Im folgenden Beitrag wird anhand eines sehr einfachen Modells exemplarisch gezeigt, welche Interdependenzen zwischen technischem Fortschritt, Wachstumsrate und Beschäftigung und welche wirtschaftspolitischen Implikationen resultieren, wenn diese Annahmen relativiert werden.
