Außenhandel in differenzierten Gütern: Eine einfache theoretische Analyse

Abstract

In einem einfachen theoretischen Erklärungsansatz werden Aspekte eines internationalen Handels in differenzierten Gütern diskutiert. Neben homogenen Gütern können insbesondere differenzierte Güter intraindustriellen Güteraustausch begründen. Von dieser Form der internationalen Arbeitsteilung hat die deutsche Außenwirtschaft besonders stark profitiert. Grundlage des Modells ist das Angebotsverhalten der Unternehmen, die in einem dreistufigen Entscheidungsprozeß über Markteintritt, Produktwahl und Produktpreis befinden. Neben der Autarkielösung werden allokationstheoretische Eigenschaften der Freihandelssituation erörtert, Handelshemmnisse in ihren Wirkungen untersucht und kurz auf Unterschiede in der Technologie und den Präferenzen der betrachteten Volkswirtschaften eingegangen.
