Abstract

Das Modell des Risk-Governance-Cluster-Cube (RGC-Cube) dient dazu, die Vielzahl deutscher Unternehmen mit ihren spezifischen organisatorischen Ausprägungen und Merkmalen zu erfassen und nach ihrer Compliance-Komplexität einzuordnen. In Studie 1 zum Forschungsprojekt wurden insbesondere die drei Kriterien Betriebsgröße, regulatorischer Rahmen sowie das allgemeine Geschäftsrisiko als relevant für die Unterscheidung der Compliance-Komplexität identifiziert und in einem ersten Modellentwurf zusammengefasst.1 Die Betriebsgröße (gemessen an der Anzahl der Beschäftigten) beeinflusst maßgeblich, mit welchem Ressourcenaufwand die einzelnen Compliance-Maßnahmen ausgestaltet werden. Der regulatorische Rahmen bestimmt die wesentlichen anzuwendenden Vorschriften und Regulierungen, die sich z.B. aus der Kapitalmarktorientierung, der Rechtsform oder der Branchenzugehörigkeit ergeben. Das Kriterium des allgemeinen Geschäftsrisikos beinhaltet die Faktoren Länderrisiken, Branche, Internationalisierungsgrad und nimmt ebenfalls Einfluss darauf, welche Compliance-Maßnahmen für ein bestmögliches Risikomanagement zu implementieren sind.
