Gesellschaftliche Einstellungen in ländlichen Räumen gegenüber Neuzugewanderten: Befragungsergebnisse und regionale Spezifika. Verbundprojekt "Zukunft für Geflüchtete in ländlichen Regionen Deutschlands"

Abstract

Ländliche Regionen fungieren seit dem deutlichen Anstieg von Geflüchteten im Jahr 2014 häufiger als Orte des Ankommens und Integration. Die Rolle ländlicher Ankunftsgesellschaften bzw. die Ein-stellungen der lokalen Residenzbevölkerung für die Integrationspotenziale stehen allerdings selten im Blick der Forschung. Dieses Working Paper thematisiert daher die Einstellungen der Residenz-bevölkerung von 40 ländlichen Kommunen in Deutschland. Hierzu wurden 904 Personen in ländli-chen Gemeinden in Bayern, Hessen, Niedersachsen und Sachsen zu ihren Einstellungsmustern und Einschätzungen ihres nachbarschaftlichen Zusammenlebens schriftlich befragt. Das Working Paper gibt Einblicke in die Ergebnisse und diskutiert die Rolle von sozialem Miteinander und positiven wie negativen Einflussfaktoren für die Aufnahmebereitschaft der lokalen Bevölkerung. Dabei liegt ein Fokus auf der ländlichen Spezifik sowie regionalen Unterschieden. Die hier vorgestellten Ergeb-nisse entstanden im Rahmen des Verbundprojekts 'Zukunft für Geflüchtete in ländlichen Räumen Deutschlands' im Teilprojekt 'Rolle der Zivilgesellschaft und Einstellungen der Aufnahmegesell-schaft' unter Federführung der TU Chemnitz.
