Die alternativen WEHAM-Szenarien: Holzpräferenz, Naturschutzpräferenz und Trendfortschreibung. Szenarienentwicklung, Ergebnisse und Analyse

Abstract

Das Holz- und das Naturschutzpräferenzszenario sind alternative Szenarien, die im Waldklimafonds-Verbundforschungsprojekt 'WEHAM-Szenarien' entwickelt wurden. Mit dem Simulationsmodell WEHAM wurden auf Basis der Daten der Bundeswaldinventur 2012 die zukünftige Waldentwicklung und das potenzielle Rohholzaufkommen für den Zeitraum 2012 bis 2052 geschätzt. Des Weiteren wurden Ansätze für ein Trendfortschreibungsszenario erarbeitet. In dem Bericht werden die Methodik zur Szenarienerstellung und detaillierte Ergebnisse vorgestellt. Daneben werden die wichtigsten Ergebnisse des Holzpräferenz- und Naturschutzpräferenzszenarios dem WEHAM-Basisszenario als Referenz gegenübergestellt und analysiert. Für die Modellierung von Totholz wurde ein neues Verfahren angewandt, mit dem entsprechende Totholzzielvorräte für die Szenarien berechnet wurden.
