Entwicklung des Konkurrenzdrucks durch China auf dem EU-Markt: Update einer Vorläuferstudie

Abstract

In diesem Report wird untersucht, ob China mit seinen Exporten immer mehr in diejenigen Branchen vordringt, in denen die deutsche Wirtschaft ihre Stärken hat. Um dieser Frage nachzugehen, werden die Veränderungen der Anteile Chinas und Deutschlands an den EU-Importen im Zeitraum 2000 bis 2022 deskriptiv analysiert. Dabei werden zunächst die aggregierten Warenimporte und die Einfuhren von anspruchsvollen Industriegütern insgesamt betrachtet, auf welche die deutsche Wirtschaft spezialisiert ist. Im zweiten Schritt werden die EU-Importe von anspruchsvollen Industriegütern auf der 2-Steller-Produktebene genauer analysiert. Schließlich werden 4-Steller-Produktgruppen betrachtet und es wird auf die wichtigsten Gruppen aus deutscher Sicht fokussiert.
