Mehrwertsteuersenkung: Erste Effekte sichtbar

Abstract

Der Beschluss der Großen Koalition zur vorübergehenden Mehrwertsteuersenkung ab Juli 2020 hat viele überrascht. Angedacht zur Erhöhung der Konsumnachfrage in der Corona-Pandemie überwog jedoch die Skepsis, ob diese Erwartung sich überhaupt erfüllen würde. Doch die Senkung hat Schätzungen zufolge tatsächlich einen sichtbaren Effekt.
