Abstract

Wie gut gerüstet sind Europas Volkswirtschaften für wirtschaftliche Schlechtwetterlagen? Die EU-Mitgliedstaaten haben die Hochkonjunktur der letzten Jahre in unterschiedlichem Ausmaß für Reformen genutzt. Die Länder der Eurozone legten den Fokus auf nachfrageseitige Maßnahmen, während die Visegrád-Staaten vor allem angebotsseitige Reformen wählten. Sowohl innerhalb dieser beiden Gruppen als auch zwischen ihnen zeigt sich viel Heterogenität bei der Implementierung von Strukturreformen zur Steigerung des langfristigen Wachstumspotenzials.
