Abstract

Armutsgefährdung hängt stark von regionalen Wirtschaftsstrukturen und Lebensverhältnissen ab, wie die Analyse der einkommensbezogenen Armutsquote und des Abschneidens im Regionalranking der IW Consult für die 402 deutschen Kreise zeigt. Eine Anti-Armutspolitik setzt deshalb am besten auf eine Kombination personenbezogener und regionalpolitischer Maßnahmen.
