AfD-Erstarken: Verbände sehen stärker politische als ökonomische Risiken

Abstract

Das Umfragehoch der AfD und der Sieg eines AfD-Kan- didaten bei der Landratswahl im Kreis Sonneberg im Juni weckten die Befürchtung, die Partei könnte sich als Risiko für den Standort Deutschland erweisen. Die medial breit geführte Debatte bot Anlass für eine IW- Befragung der Hauptgeschäftsführer von Verbänden zu den von der AfD ausgehenden Risiken. Mit Aus- nahme der abschreckenden Wirkung auf ausländische Fachkräfte in AfD-Hochburgen werden die akuten Auswirkungen als relativ gering eingeschätzt. Langfristige Risiken werden deutlich stärker gesehen. Hier über- wiegt jedoch die Sorge vor negative Konsequenzen hinsichtlich der politischen Kultur und Handlungsfähigkeit die Sorge um mögliche wirtschaftliche Risiken.
