Abstract

Die Zukunft des geplanten Freihandelsabkommens TTIP steht auf der Kippe. Der in vielen Punkten fehlende Konsens zwischen den Verhandlungspartnern ist wenig überraschend, zögern die USA doch üblicherweise bis zuletzt mit wesentlichen Zugeständnissen. Doch das größte Risiko für TTIP stellt der Widerstand der Bevölkerung dar. Um das Abkommen noch zu retten, benötigen die Verhandlungsparteien einen Neuansatz.
