Abstract

War 2007 noch weniger als jeder sechste Akademiker zwischen 25 und 44 Jahren nicht in Deutschland geboren, galt dies 2017 bereits für jeden Vierten. Obschon die meisten dieser Zuwanderer nicht über die klassische Erwerbsmigration ins Land gekommen sind, muss diese weiter gestärkt werden, um die Zuwanderung hochqualifizierter Fachkräfte langfristig zu sichern.
