Abstract

Mit der Einführung des Bürgergeldes wurde der monatliche Regelsatz von 449 auf 502 Euro erhöht. Mit 46,3 Prozent wird die Erhöhung von einem großen Teil der Deutschen als zu gering bewertet (von 16,9 Prozent als zu hoch). Eine experimentelle Befragung zeigt nun, wie sensibel diese Einschätzungen auf Informationen reagieren, dass auch Krankenkassenbeiträge und bis zu einer Höchstmiete Wohnkosten übernommen werden. So sinkt der Anteil, der den Regelsatz als zu gering bewertet, auf bis zu 33,7 Prozent (26,5 Prozent zu hoch). Wohingegen sich Parteianhängerschaften von Grünen bis zu Liberalen responsiv zeigen, reagiert die AfD-Anhängerschaft nicht auf die Einordnungen.Im Haushalt der Europäischen Union (EU) wird das Geld knapp, so die Feststellung der Europäischen Kommission anlässlich der Halbzeitrevision des Mehrjährigen Finanzrahmens (MFR) 2021 bis 2027. Zur Erinnerung: Im Dezember 2020 hatten sich die Mitgliedstaaten nach langwierigen und schwierigen Verhandlungen auf die Höhe der Ausgaben für die nächsten sieben Jahre sowie eine grobe Aufteilung der Ausgabenstruktur geeinigt. Insgesamt waren Ausgaben in Höhe von rund 1,2 Billionen Euro geplant; hinzu kamen noch einmal knapp 807 Milliarden Euro für Ausgaben im Rahmen des Programms Next-Generation EU (NGEU) - beide Angaben in laufenden Preisen.
