Entwicklung von Löhnen und Mieten: Dreigeteiltes Deutschland

Abstract

Die Mieten in Deutschland sind im vergangenen Jahrzehnt kräftig gestiegen, insbesondere in den Ballungsräumen. Dies weckt Befürchtungen, Wohnen werde unbezahlbar. Doch gleichzeitig erlebt Deutschland auch einen Arbeitsmarktboom. Die Arbeitslosenquote ist auf einem historischen Tiefststand und die Löhne steigen. Betrachtet man Lohnund Mietentwicklung simultan, ist die Erschwinglichkeit des Mietens in weiten Teilen Deutschlands gestiegen.
