Griechenland. IW-Schuldentragfähigkeitsanalyse zeigt: Kein Schuldenschnitt nötig

Abstract

Griechenland steht im Rahmen der ersten Überprüfung des dritten Hilfsprogrammes erneut vor einer möglichen Krise. Zudem droht der IWF auszusteigen, wenn die Schuldentragfähigkeit mittelfristig nicht gesichert ist. Ein Schuldenschnitt in Form eines Forderungsverzichtes ist aber nicht nötig, wie die aktuelle Schuldentragfähigkeitsanalyse des IW zeigt. Es reichen Maßnahmen zum Management des Schuldendienstes aus. Vor allem sollten die Rückzahlungsfristen deutlich verlängert werden. Zudem sollte der ESM dem IWF die bisherigen Kredite abnehmen und sich stärker längerfristig finanzieren.
