Bundeshaushalt: Spielraum passé

Abstract

Die Bundesregierung ist derzeit nicht nur bemüht, die Vereinbarungen aus dem Koalitionsvertrag umzusetzen, sondern plant darüber hinaus weitere Gesetzesvorhaben. Doch gleichzeitig lässt das Wachstum der Steuereinnahmen nach. So übersteigen die resultierenden Mehrausgaben den Handlungsspielraum des Bundes bis 2022 um voraussichtlich mehr als 100 Milliarden Euro. Dabei handelt es sich längst nicht nur um zukunftsgerichtete Investitionen, für die im Zweifelsfall neue Schulden gerechtfertigt wären.
