Effekt der kalten Progression bis 2021

Abstract

Anders als noch beim Sondierungsergebnis will die mögliche Koalition von Union und SPD nun doch die kalte Progression in dieser Legislaturperiode ausgleichen. Für die Steuerzahler bedeutet dies immerhin keine schleichende Erhöhung der Einkommensteuer, für den Staat führt dieser Plan jedoch zu Mindereinnahmen. Denn in der bisherigen Finanzplanung sind die Einnahmen aus der kalten Progression einkalkuliert. Von 2018 bis 2021 summiert sich der Effekt für den Bund auf insgesamt 15 Milliarden Euro.
