Corona: Droht eine Zombiefizierung der deutschen Wirtschaft?

Abstract

Die Anzahl der Unternehmensinsolvenzen wird 2020 voraussichtlich auf einen neuen Tiefststand von wenig über 17.000 fallen. Der schwere Wirtschaftseinbruch und die Lockdowns im Frühjahr und zum Jahresende ließen jedoch eigentlich einen kräftigen Anstieg der Insolvenzzahl um etwa 15 Prozent erwarten. Rechnerisch ergeben sich damit Ende 2020 circa 4.500 weniger Insolvenzen als erwartbar waren - möglicherweise Zombieunternehmen.
