Zur Arbeitsteilung zwischen Regionen: Das nordöstliche Brandenburg aus der Sicht der regionalökonomischen Theorie

Abstract

Die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung in den neuen Ländern ist im Begriff, sich immer mehr auszudifferenzieren. Standorte, die im Windschatten der Wachstumsknoten liegen, haben dabei das Nachsehen. Der Nordosten Brandenburgs ist einer dieser Standorte. Um zu einer Arbeitsteilung mit den benachbarten Regionen zu finden, muss die Region zunächst ihre komparativen Vorteile definieren und sich entsprechend spezialisieren. Der vorliegende Beitrag untersucht die Entwicklungsperspektiven für das nordöstliche Brandenburg aus dem Blickwinkel der regionalökonomischen Theorie.
