Endogene Produktionssubventionen in einem internationalen Duopol

Abstract

In den Erklärungsansätzen der strategischen Handelspolitik kann der Einsatz handelspolitischer Instrumente, bei unvollkommener Konkurrenz auf internationalen Märkten, zu gesamtwirtschaftlichen Gewinnen für ein Land führen (vgl. Brander, Spencer, 1983, 1985). Dagegen wird eine Vielzahl von Argumenten ins Feld geführt. Einerseits wird die starke Abhängigkeit der Ergebnisse von der Art des Wettbewerbs (Eaton, Grossman, 1986), andererseits der partialanalytische Charakter der Darstellung kritisiert (Dixit, Grossman, 1984). Weiter bleibt die Möglichkeit des Markteintritts (Horstmann, Markusen, 1986), wie auch, mittels strategischer Investitionen, der Einflußnahme der Unternehmen auf die Handelspolitik unberücksichtigt (Dixit, Kyle, 1985).
