Gesamtwirtschaftliche und unternehmerische Anpassungsfortschritte in Ostdeutschland: Neunter Bericht

Abstract

Seit Anfang 1991 arbeiten das Deutsche Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung, Berlin, das Institut für Weltwirtschaft, Kiel, und das Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung Halle gemeinsam an einem Forschungsprojekt, das sich mit dem wirtschaftlichen Neuaufbau in Ostdeutschland befaßt. Das Projekt wurde vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft in Auftrag gegeben. Dem Auftraggeber wurden bisher acht Berichte erstattet. Ziel des Forschungsprojekts bleibt es, die Informationsbasis zu verbreitern. Die Statistiken, in denen sich die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung in den neuen Bundesländern dokumentiert, sind zwar zahlreicher geworden, sie ergeben aber immer noch kein flächendeckendes und vor allem kein konsistentes Bild. Die beteiligten Institute müssen deshalb versuchen, Informationslücken durch eigene Erhebungen und Recherchen zu schließen.
