Abstract

Seit dem Beginn der Pandemie hat die deutsche Wirtschaft ihren (bis dahin absehbaren) Wachstumspfad verlassen. Während in den Jahren davor der Staatskonsum insgesamt und die sozialen Sachleistungen in einem gewissen Gleichlauf nominal und preisbereinigt mit dem Bruttoinlandsprodukt gestiegen waren, legten sie seitdem deutlich stärker zu. Während der Pandemie dürften dazu in großem Umfang zusätzliche Maßnahmen vom Staat beigetragen haben. Doch hat sich die Lücke im vergangenen Jahr trotz des Wegfalls der pandemiebedingten Maßnahmen nicht geschlossen
