Prognose und Prognoseanpassung für das Jahr 2021

Abstract

Die Prognoseanpassungen für das laufende Jahr waren ähnlich wie für das Vorjahr maßgeblich durch den Pandemieverlauf geprägt. Zum einen lassen sich die Einflüsse der Pandemie auf das Wirtschaftsgeschehen angesichts geringer Erfahrungswerte nach wie vor nur schwer abschätzen. Zum anderen ist der weitere Verlauf der Pandemie kaum absehbar, so dass die den Prognosen zugrundeliegenden Annahmen sich zum Teil als unzutreffend herausstellen. Die Revision für die Zuwachsrate des Bruttoinlandsprodukts im Jahr 2021 zwischen der Winter-Prognose (2020) und der laufenden Prognose fällt dabei mit 0,4 Prozentpunkten im historischen Vergleich sogar noch recht gering aus (Tabelle 1). Allerdings hatten wir unsere Prognose zwischenzeitlich nach oben revidiert, während wir nun von einer etwas geringeren Zuwachsrate im Vergleich zum Winter 2020 ausgehen. Bei den Verwendungskomponenten kam es dabei zum Teil zu deutlichen Anpassungen.
